Caro Roger, cari amici di Mediterranea,
Le vicissitudini che mi hanno perseguitato , problemi al Joystick in primis, fortunatamente (spero) risolti ultimamente con l’acquisto del Microsoft Sydewinder Force Feedback 2 usato e revisionato , la cui taratura – peraltro – è stata abbastanza complicata, continuano.
Da un po' di tempo a questa parte, nonostante abbia cambiato Computer (vedi dettagli equipaggiamento in calce alla mia firma) Medacars mi si pianta ad intervalli varii. Intervalli che vanno da un minimo di 30 minuti ad un massimo di sette otto ore a seconda della lunghezza dei voli e talvolta più volte nel corso dello stesso volo. La conferma e la conseguente chiusura avviene tramite Task Manager “il programma non risponde”
Quando me ne accorgo in volo durante gli utilizzi di routine risolvo chiudendo MedAcars e riaprendolo senza toccare altro e quindi - diciamo così - senza alcun problema (grande Roger!!) .
Quando però, già al parcheggio e con i freni inseriti , apro MedAcars - cosa che abitualmente non faccio durante le manovre di avvicinamento/atterraggio - non posso chiudere i voli, perché il programma è fermo sul 3 e non sul 6. Ed allora dopo aver riaperto il penultimo volo “autosalvato” , al “danno” si aggiunge la beffa di ripetere la manovra di atterraggio, manovra che di solito riesce, ma non sempre, soprattutto quando non ci sono “i tempi “ per mettere in assetto l’aereo.
Di questo passo, la mia produzione di adrenalina è arrivata ormai a “quantità industriali”.
Ebbene cercando di capire e risolvere l’inconveniente (per quanto mi sia stato possibile) sono andato a controllare il file ErroriSistema.txt dentro la mia cartella di MedAcars e mi sono accorto che ad ogni blocco corrispondeva la scritta
System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.
Questa sopra riportata , per esempio, è dell’11/1/11 h 12.32 riferita al volo LICR-LIML del quale, per l’appunto ho dovuto ripetere l’atterraggio.

Esaminando il FORUM mi sono ricordato che sin dal 2008 dell’OUT OF MEMORY, Roger (sempre lui, il nostro Mito) aveva dato delle utilissime “dritte”.
Ho allora provato a modificare solo il Boot.ini ……../3GB per vedere quello che succedeva. Però al riavvio ho notato che FS9 andava piano, gli scenari “irreali” e con nuvole romboidali e gli aerei risultavano privi di livrea. Ho ripristinato il Boot.ini e tutto e ritornato com’era.
Prima di intervenire nuovamente sul Boot. ini e sull’eseguibile FS9.exe, mi chiedo se ho ragionato giusto e se non converrebbe modificare anche l’eseguibile MedAcars.exe anche se quest’ultima operazione – ripeto – se ho ragionato bene, sarebbe inutile e forse pericolosa, in quanto già risolta dall’intervento sull’eseguibile FS9.exe.
Un’ultima cosa come posso eliminare l’avviso “WEATHER: please run ivapxpath.exe and restart IVAP che mi appare quando mi connetto ad IVAO dal momento che la patch fu eseguita a suo tempo e che come Metar uso Active SkY 6.5?
Mi scuso per la lunghezza del pezzo e per la pazienza che avrà Roger e gli altri, nel leggerlo.

Ottimo! Quindi era proprio come pensavo.
In ogni caso quel picco e quell'errore (dovuto alla ricerca del metar) lo puoi evitare non aprendo il panel come ha detto Giulio.
Tuttavia difficilmente quello ti creerà il blocco totale.
Quindi continua a provare e alla prossima bottiglia fai un brindisi per me!

continuerò a fare prove con AVIRA ( e pazienza per NOD32 il cui abbonamento scadrà a metà giugno). Ti terrò informato.

Un rosso che da tanti anni andiamo a prendere verso Pasqua ai Colli dell'Orcia. Segue il rito dell'imbottigliamento che avviene a Roma..in garage: mia moglie riempie le bordolesi ed il sottoscritto le tappa, le etichetta e le sistema nell'attigua cantina di casa.

Ottimo! Quindi era proprio come pensavo.
In effetti a creare quella situazione di blocco poteva essere un virus, oppure un antivirus, oppure un firewall. Difficilmente altre cose.
In effetti avevo anche pensato ad un blocco della rete, cosa che potrebbe capitare ma non certo con quella frequenza e con quella costanza in tutti i voli!
Le segnalazioni sul log degli errori non credo neanche che c'entrino con il blocco, così come non credo che c'entri l'aumento della memoria utilizzata da MDA. In ogni caso quel picco e quell'errore (dovuto alla ricerca del metar) lo puoi evitare non aprendo il panel come ha detto Giulio.
Tuttavia difficilmente quello ti creerà il blocco totale.
Quindi continua a provare e alla prossima bottiglia fai un brindisi per me!

Allora fai così... Non aprire assolutamente il Panel.
Ieri ho volato la prima tratta del TOUR12 (vuoi che il PC è ancora pieno di ragnatele, vuoi che devo ancora metterlo a punto) e ogni volta che aprivo il Panel andava tutto in pappa dopo un po' di tempo  Forse sarà stato un caso (magari dipendente dalla mia configurazione farraginosa) però tentar non nuoce

In questi casi bisogna andare per esclusione.
A disinstallare completamente NOD e a provare un volo SENZA antivirus, non ci metti più di mezza giornata... e a quel punto puoi passare ad altre ipotesi.... SE questa ipotesi non è corretta

15/1/2011 Volo OTBD-FAJS A330 partenza ora di Roma 8.33 arrivo ore 16.39 durata otto ore e sei minuti Volo on-line IVAO: FS9 Active Sky Medacars Servinfo FSNavigator. AntivirusNOD32 con MedaCars escluso dai controlli.
Dopo circa due ore (10.26 mi accorgo che MedAcarss “non risponde”. Effettuo la “solita operazione”: Chiusura da task manager e riapertura dell’eseguibile.
Per le ulteriori sei ore di volo non ho avuto più problemi fino a chiusura del volo. Per “prudenza”, cioè per non restare con una mano davanti ed una di dietro, dieci minuti prima dell’atterraggio ho “volutamente chiuso e riaperto MedAcars come sopra.
Certamente hai ragione tu – bisogna fare la prova certa - e prima o poi farò un volo con un altro antivirus, ma la mia “sensazione” è che NOD32 non sia responsabile. Vai a sapere quale programma va in conflitto con MedAcar e soprattutto, perché!
Per tutta la durata del volo ho effettuato ben 11 monitoraggi di Task Manager rilevando che MedAcars ha utilizzato da 36600KB (ore 8.30) a 38750 (ore 16.29), mantenendosi - sia pure con un leggero aumento - abbastanza costante. Stessa cosa dicasi per Activesky (da 46650 di partenza a 48352KB alla chiusura. Quando Medacars si è bloccato, il dato su Task Manager era schizzato a 205610KB. I KB si erano sestuplicati!!
Vorrei fare un’altra prova e precisamente vorrei mettere un po’ d’ordine nella cartella di MedAcars, magari re istallando il programma. Questo perché ho l’impressione che a causa dei “passaggi” prima dal vecchio PC a quello nuovo, poi dal nuovo al portatile per poter volare anche quando nel periodo estivo risiedo fuori, ed infine per ritrasferire nuovamente la cartella sul PC fisso, qualche “casino” è probabile che sia successo.
In proposito ti accludo l’immagine della Cartella. Vedi un po' tu.

ieri ho provato per circa 4 ore con Active Sky (spunta ormai levata per disattivare il meteo IVAP) con FS9 escluso dai controlli. Il "Non risponde" di MDA si è verificato una sola volta dopo 4 ore circa, ma c'è stato. Hai ragione, FS non c'entra niente.
Ieri ho riparlato con i tecnici di NOD32 e sempre gentilissimi, ma evidentemente digiuni di FS e programmi connessi, chiederanno direttamente alla ESET, produttrice di NOD32 e mi faranno sapere.
Si lo so, dirai che mi ostino a non disistallare NOD32 (pesa 49 Mega) e mettere provvisoriamente Avira (pesa 52 Mega)per aver certezza della sua sospetta responsabilità.
Oggi ho fatto "ufficialmente" il volo LIML-OTBD con um PSSA332 livrea MED. Ho riattivato i controlli su FS9, ho usato ActiveSky 6.5, e decollato alle 6.10 "a parte i due blocchi" di MDA rilevati il primo alle 7.10 ed il secondo alle 7.27 non ho avuto più problemi fino a chiusura ed inoltro del report. Report del quale da un momento all'altro attendo la registrazione.
Pignolo e tignoso come sono, parendomi veramente incredibile che in NOD32 - se "colpevole" - non ci sia soluzione, sono entrato dentro la miriade di opzioni previste. Tra le PROTEZIONI ACCESSO WEB ho "scoperto" che Medacars.exe è incluso tra quelli filtrati. Ho tolto la spunta e vediamo se succede qualcosa. Potrebbe essre la volta buona?

Io proverei direttamente a disinstallarlo, tanto eventualmente lo puoi sempre installare di nuovo.
Tiene presente che escludere FS dai controlli di NOD32 potrebbe non risolvere nulla perchè magari il blocco avviene su qualche routine di MDA, Active sky, ivap o vattelapesca...
quindi secondo me l'unico modo di vedere con certezza se il responsabile è NOD32 è disinstallarlo completamente...

Ieri sabato ho fatto il volo LIML-LGAV CON ACTIVE SKY
Medacars si è piantato dopo circa due ore di volo
Il file Errori di sistema.txt ha rimarcato le solite cose.

Oggi ho eseguito il volo LGAV-LIML SENZA ACTIVE SKY usando solo il meteo di IVAO (bah, la differenza l'ho notata, ma non mi e parsa poi così fondamentale. Certo con Active Sky è meglio.
MedAcars si è comunque piantato dopo circa due ore di volo, ma il file Errori di sistema.txt NON HA DATO MESSAGGI.
Ergo Active Sky salvo assenza di messaggi d'errore non c'entrerebbe niente.

Ottimo, vedi un po' se escludendo FS dai controlli di NOD risolvi. In caso contrario puoi sempre provare a disinstallarlo. Tanto se poi non fosse quello il problema fai sempre in tempo a installarlo nuovamente

ieri prima delle 18.00 (ora in cui termina il lavoro dei tecnici di NOD32 (pensa la Società sta a dieci minuti a piedi da casa mia che sto in zona EUR, quasi dietro al laghetto) li ho contattati ed ho chiesto "lumi". Sempre estremamente gentili e collaborativi, una volta esposti i problemi, ribadendo quello che mi hai scritto tu, un loro tecnico mi ha ridetto della possibilità di "escludere" FS9, dai controlli di routine. Ho scritto "ridetto", perchè in effetti il problema si era già verificato tempo fa, ma "rinco" e smemorato come sto diventando (sarebbe meglio dire come sono diventato), al momento della reistallazione dei programmi sul nuovo PC a metà giugno scorso, non me ne ero più ricordato. Anche perchè dai primi di luglio a oltre metà settembre trasferito nella mia casetta di Capalbio ed usando un portatile, non avevo più toccato il "PC fisso".
Poichè a ragione - per quanto mi riguarda - ho sempre avuto la massima fiducia in NOD32 che uso da anni e che anche sul lavoro non mi ha "mai tradito", procederò per gradi. Oggi si vedrà la mia "nobilitate": farò un volo da Linate ad Atene.

Se il problema si ripresenta, prova a disinstallarlo completamente e magari a mettere un antivirus free tipo avira... è un tentavo, ma se non sbaglio nod32 aveva già creato qualche problema in passato.

Confermo Roger, dopo la disinstallazione io ho scelto AVAST ed è un ottimo AntiVIRUS
